Who says sequels ar never better than their predecessors? Megabudget producers consume hammered away at proving this sir Hiram Stevens Maxim wrong, mainly through sequelizing as many crummy movies as dear ones. Sure, a motion picture like The Matrix sets a satisfyingly high bar for its successors, merely it�s quite an the opposite for films like XXX, Tomb Raider, and Resident Evil; hardly any effort at all is needed to go past the original.
